The #2 seed Elizabethtown Bears boys basketball team had to go on the road twice in Lancaster-Lebabnon league Playoffs. After beating Lampeter-Strasburg in the first round, 76-61, the Section Two Champion Bears had to travel to Hempfield high school to take on the Section Four Champions, Lancaster Catholic in an intense matchup.

A year ago this week, the Elizabethtown High School football team had just put away rivals Manheim Central 56-14,the first win over M.C in 28 tries, to push their unbeaten streak to nine games. E-Town finished the season 10-2, losing the championship game to Cocalico.

The sounds filling the stands on Wednesday night were of supporting fans that were there to see the Blue Jays Men’s Soccer Team take on Neumann College. Fans of the Jays showed their support with homemade signs with players names and numbers.
